Four films. One legal limit. A lot of confusion in between.
Texas requires your front side windows to let through at least 25 percent of light, and we install to that limit on every car. Past that, the choice is between four films that do different jobs: Premium Dyed for a cost-effective look and less glare, Metalized for structural durability and efficient heat resistance, Carbon for maximum heat rejection with no fading, and Nano-IR Ceramic, our premium option, for the clearest optics and the strongest UV and infrared rejection without touching your phone or toll tag signal. We carry 3M, LLumar, FormulaOne, Coolvu, Avery Dennison and Solex, and we'd rather ask what's actually bothering you about the sun before we recommend one.
A full vehicle runs two to four hours
How long it takes depends on how many windows the car has and what shape the glass is. Same-day service covers most vehicles. If your existing tint has already gone purple or bubbled, or you're trying to get dealership film off before it dries out completely, that removal happens first, and it's worth doing sooner rather than later, because brittle film is what damages the defroster lines on your rear glass.
