Half our work drives in and half of it stands still. The film and the warranty are the same either way.

Automotive Tint

Same-day on most vehicles. Premium dyed, metalized, carbon or Nano-IR ceramic, cut and installed to the Texas 25 percent rule on front side windows. We also strip old and dealership film before it dries out and turns brittle.

No mystery, no upsell script. The film gets chosen for what you want it to do, then it gets installed properly and it gets a warranty.

We ask what is bothering you before we quote a film.

Heat on the commute, glare into your eyes, a black interior cooking, or you just want it to look right. Those point at different films. A legal ceramic beats a darker cheap one on heat almost every time, which surprises people, so we would rather explain it than sell you the darkest thing on the shelf.

The removal

Old film comes off first, carefully.

Dealership tint and anything that has gone purple is dried out and brittle, and it does not want to lift in one piece. The rear glass is the part that matters, because the defroster lines sit on the inside surface and a rushed strip takes them with it. This is the step people wait too long on.

The install

Two to four hours, depending on the glass.

How many windows, and what shape they are. Same-day on most vehicles. The waiting room has Wi-Fi, water and snacks if you would rather sit it out than arrange a lift, and plenty of people do exactly that.

The warranty

It is transferable, it is nationwide, and we do the paperwork.

Bubbling, peeling, fading, discoloration. It follows the car when you sell it, and another certified shop can honor it if you leave Texas. It runs the other way too. LLumar sends us cars tinted in other states, and we have processed a claim on film installed in Seattle.

The four films

Darker is not the same as cooler.

How dark a film looks and how much heat it rejects are two different specifications. Texas caps the first one at 25 percent light transmission on your front side windows. Nothing caps the second.

Premium Dyed

The cost-effective option. Improves the look of the car and cuts glare. Does the least on heat.

Metalized

Structurally durable and highly efficient on heat resistance. There is a metal layer in it, which is where the question about phone and toll tag signal comes from.

Carbon

Maximum heat rejection, and it is entirely resistant to fading. No metal layer, so no signal question.

Nano-IR Ceramic

Our premium film. Superior clarity, UV protection and infrared rejection, without interfering with electronic signals.

We carry 3M, LLumar, FormulaOne, Coolvu, Avery Dennison and Solex. Which one goes on your car depends on the answer to the first question we ask you.

Before you book

The questions we get asked at the counter.

Texas requires your front side windows to let through at least 25 percent of light, so that is the darkest we will go there. Everything we install is to state law. You still get most of the heat rejection from the film itself rather than from how dark it looks, which is why a legal ceramic film outperforms a darker cheap one.

A full vehicle usually takes two to four hours, depending on how many windows it has and what shape the glass is. We offer same-day auto tinting, and the waiting area has Wi-Fi, water and snacks if you would rather stay than arrange a lift.

Most of our films carry a lifetime nationwide warranty against bubbling, peeling, fading and discoloration. It is transferable, so it follows the car if you sell it, and nationwide, so another certified installer can honor it if you leave Texas. We handle the claim paperwork ourselves.

No. Nano-IR ceramic film rejects infrared heat without a metal layer, so nothing blocks your signal. That question usually comes from metalized film, which is a different product and does have a metal layer in it.

Yes, and the sooner the better. Old film dries out and gets brittle, which makes it harder to lift cleanly and raises the risk to the defroster lines on your rear glass. We remove old and dealership film regularly before installing new.

No. Roughly half our work is buildings. Homes for heat, glare and stopping floors and furniture fading, and commercial for solar control, safety and security film, and anti-graffiti film. Same films, same warranty approach, different install.
